Here we go again..flocked in a nice place, inspiring people and awesone artworks. Our friends from MAROS are throwing their 2nd event from last year : The current work of MAROS illustration academy. It's seems they're stepping up the next level, and the achievement was great.. though i must raise the urge of originality, 'cos some piece are look alike or worse style-copied. But anyway great works! Keep it up!

Berangkat dari sebuah penafsiran atas nama hasrat ( passion ). Awal dari paham yang dapat berujung nafsu. Kami naif, teman. Kami hanya ingin ruang bermain. Maka berikan kami dinding kosong, toilet pun tak apa. Kami suka najis dan kekotoran. Tapi kami tak pernah bemain kotor.

Maka datanglah teman ke Cubica, Kemang. Tempat mahluk membuang kesadaran. Namun kami sadar dan ingin berbicara atas nama hasrat. Tatap lah dinding sambil kamu buang hajat. Tak apa.. kami memang kotor.. tapi tak sekotor koruptor dan manusia-manusi pencoleng itu..

This is my second colab with Malonahuai. All began with 1,5 hrs driving in early morning from Jakarta a pure bliss then 'pop' we're arrive at Univeristy of Parahyangan. It's whole day of fun! Only sad things i heard that some artwork were not properly taking care off, and left broken. C'mon guys respect us to respect yours!

Plastik terus berputar,pak. waktu mengalahkan kita. apa yang kita punya sementara sedu sedan bergelayut diatas eyeshadow. kau punya waktu, pak? untuk sedikit saja menyandarkan waktumu pada gembel dekil diluar sana? atau mungkin jarum detik telah melaju terlalu kencang menjadi tanya pada setiap angin yang lantas jadi retina mambuatmu buta akan warna-warna aklirik yang sebenarnya jelma dari darah peri lucu yang kita bunuh di tepi kanvas.

Not Pretty As You Think

This is my new mixed media style. The process takes bit of time, specially on the techical side. But aftereall it was fun to me ! I'm using media of wheatpaste, pencil, marker, acrylic, and aerosol.
